SSF Event 024: PKO dominated by Michel Rieckhoff after a trophy and ticket playoff
Saturday night at Showdown belonged to the bounty hunters. The third event of the Showdown Spring Festival, Progressive Knockout (PKO) with a 150,000 CZK guarantee, attracted fans of action-packed poker. The tournament format with a 1,200+800+100 CZK buy-in promised plenty of eliminations.
The tournament generated 100 entries (59 unique players and 41 re-entries), meaning players competed for shares of the guarantee plus thousands of crowns in direct bounty rewards.
Even four-way deal and the playoff
The final table reached a point where the last four players had very similar stacks. The quartet of Michel Rieckhoff, Petr Henych, Pham Truong, and Lůzr123 decided on an even deal. Each secured a guaranteed 16,200 CZK from the prize pool plus their current Bounty rewards.
However, the most valuable prizes were still at stake – the prestigious festival trophy and a ticket to the 1,000,000 CZK GTD major. Michel Rieckhoff dominated the playoff, adding the ticket to our million event, the trophy, and a total bounty reward of 13,100 CZK to his deal.
