Thursday Quarter at Showdown: Kim Jung Woo wins after a 3-way deal!
Yesterday evening at Showdown belonged to the popular Thursday Quarter. The tournament was a complete success and the atmosphere at the casino was fantastic – besides the tournament tables, the cash game was also running at full speed. With a buy-in of 3,500 + 100 CZK and a guarantee of 250,000 CZK the tournament attracted 47 unique players, who, thanks to 31 re-entries, generated a total of 78 entries, which comfortably covered the guarantee.
Battle for tickets and the final deal
The tournament was all the more attractive because the players were not competing only for cash prizes. For the top five finishers there were also prepared tickets worth 5,000 CZK to the upcoming 1M GTD special!
The final table came down to a discussion among the last three players. Kim Jung Woo, Centorame Antone Gabriele and Matěj Tomanec eventually agreed on a 3-way deal. Kim Jung Woo emerged as the winner of this duel, claiming the top prize of 47,400 CZK.
