It was not until the first half of the 20th century that the popularity of No Limit Texas Hold'em Poker (NLH) with two hole cards and five community cards began to grow. Today, the biggest poker events are played in this variant.
In Prague, you can find several places to play poker. At Showdown Poker Club, poker is on offer every day. We offer a wide range of poker tournaments and cash games.
Tournaments: You pay a buy-in and receive chips. When you lose them, you are out (unless there is re-entry). It is played until the last winner.
Cash Game: You play with chips that have direct financial value. You can sit down and leave at any time. If you bet 200 chips, you are betting 200 CZK.
For the beginning, it is better to choose a poker tournament with a low buy-in. If you do not have poker experience, our friendly staff will be happy to advise you.
